Complete Dentures are removable missing teeth replacements that are administered for patients who need a full or complete teeth replacement because they have lost all or majority of their teeth and will then need ones that are made of prosthetics. Before complete dentures are applied/installed, a couple of existing teeth that were left need to be extracted first. The complete denture will then be put into place once the mouth has fully healed from the extractions by the end of 8-12 weeks.
Partial Dentures are removable missing teeth replacements for patients who want to replace some of their missing/extracted teeth. By replacing one or two missing teeth, the form and function of your jaw are able to be restored. Partial dentures rest on a metal framework that attaches to your teeth and crowns and is sometimes placed on some of your natural teeth to serve as anchors for the dentures. They should manage to fit and go well with the rest of your remaining natural teeth.
